Building circularity method and results

Good Morning,

I am analysing building circularity of my project.
From a first running, building circularity is 86%.
I went through this explanation (https://oneclicklca.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/15602310529820-Building-Circularity-V2), and I calculated building circularity as following:
0.5*[(Recycled1) + ((Recycling1)+( Downcycling0.5))
0.5
( 1.3 + 37.15) = 19.225

Why does the result in the image show a different value?

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,

Hi Luca,

The 86% comes from the 100%+71.3%/2, however your ‘downcycling’ seems to be counted 100% instead of 50%.

Have you checked the weighting factors in your design? You can edit these as you want, while we set a default multiplier of 0.5 (as downcycling can be an energy-intensive process), I am not certain what your value is set to.

If it is set to 0.5, can you recalculate the ‘Materials returned’ settings? Editing the quantity allows you to resave it.
