Hi, pardon me if my question is very naive as I am very new to One Click LCA. My question is, if we are to use a material that is not readily available for example, concrete with rice husk ash, how do we include that? what could be the easiest way? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are two different approaches depending on the situation.
SCENARIO 1:
- You have an EPD,
- AND: if you search for it in one of your tools that allow for the same data standard (see definitions here) that is used in the EPD, you cannot find it
- AND: You checked that the EPD is valid for the inclusion in OCL-database
→ Please send the EPD (at best as .pdf) to support@oneclicklca.com. We will forward it to our Data Team and will let you know once it has been uploaded.
SCENARIO 2 (only for users with Expert and Designer licenses):
- You have an EPD that doesn’t meet OCL criteria for inclusion (see here), e.g. a project-specific or internally verified EPD
- OR: You have an EPD that meets the OCL criteria for inclusion, but you need to use it right away in your calculations
→ You can add this EPD as a private datapoint to your company account.
