Error with Grasshopper and OneClick LCA plugin

I’m getting the following error when I try to Visualise my results using the “Visualize Results” component on the Grasshopper Plugin - Solution exception:The given key was not present in the dictionary.

The results for the embodied carbon calculation has run but, this error seems to appear. I’ve tried internalising the data of the mesh but that hasn’t helped either. Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi Shailee,

Thanks for your question and welcome to our Community!
This seems to indicate that there was a problem accessing our database and hence no results were visualized.
The plugin requires a separate password for logging in, to establish a connection with the LCA database.
Only then can results be computed and visualised.

To log in to any plugin, one must create a plugin password (currently called ‘Get temporary password’, also called API password or API key) in the One Click LCA user profile page and this password should be used when logging in for a 2-way connection. This password can be created as many times as needed or you can use the password you have generated once in order to log in to the plugin in the future. If you are logging into One Click LCA with a username and password rather than SSO, note that this temporary password will not replace your One Click LCA user account password.
You can follow the guide here: https://oneclicklca.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/7347770984860-How-To-Login-To-Your-Import-Plugin and https://oneclicklca.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/8147750124572-Rhino-Grasshopper-Troubleshooting-Guidance-for-One-Click-LCA-Plug-in.

I seem to be following the exact same steps as you mentioned, where I generate the API password (it gets copied on to my clipboard) and then I paste it on to the dialog box which asks for the username (the email ID I use for the OneClick LCA web UI) and password (I paste it here).
Also, as you can see from the screenshot, the kgCO2e is getting computed and this is possible only when the login is successful I suppose? But the results don’t seem to get visualised.

Any further help on this is much appreciated

Hi,
