What's new in One Click LCA in February 2025

In this update, we’ve prioritized stability and performance enhancements. While this release includes fewer new features and tools, we’ve dedicated significant effort to addressing and improving overall software quality.

Update highlights:

  • Data Import for building & Infra LCA: Streamlined LCA data import, automatic BIM mapping save, and localized resource data names enhance building sustainability analysis.
  • Product LCA & EPD: New selection of targeted environmental standard and updated templates reduce EPD creation time and verification issues.
  • Civil 3D Plugin: The One Click LCA plugin now supports the Civil 3D 2025 version, available on the Autodesk App Store.

Latest updates relevant to you

  • Improvements to Data Import for building & Infra lca
    • Flexible LCA data Import: Import building LCA data not only for materials, but also directly into energy, construction site, and water input pages. All data inputs within the RICS v2.0 tool are also supported.
    • BIM mappings saved automatically: BIM model mappings are now automatically saved during data import. This streamlines future imports by automatically applying saved mappings to materials with the same name and class.
    • Localized names for data: Names of resources are now displayed in your preferred language.

Product LCA & EPD updates

  • Selection of environmental standard when creating a design for EPD: A new feature to specify the targeted environmental standard with your product design ensures that only the intended impact categories are calculated and used for EPD verification. This reduces verifier bounces due to incomplete EPDs and hence overall time to create new EPDs.

  • Updated Templates: Templates for Cement, Cement Plaster, Ceramic Brick, Ceramic Tile, Mortar, Electric Industrial Doors, Escalators, and HVAC Fire Dampers have been updated.

Plugin updates
