I’m having a technical issue in Building LCA tool:
When I import the same material Excel sheet into the software, I’m getting different results for the Global Warming Potential (GWP) each time. I’ve tried importing it 5-6 times, but each time the GWP results vary, even though the material data, quantities, and values are exactly the same.

Thanks for contacting us about the inconsistencies in your GWP results. I understand it can be disconcerting to get different results when importing the same data, and I appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
We’re going to investigate this issue further. To help us do so, could you share the following with us?
- What type of excel file are you using (our classical template or a file of your own?)
- Are you using the classical import or the new import process?
- The name (or link) to the project this happens in. No need to share that here on the forum though.
I am going to ask one of our CS specialists to get in touch with you to investigate this further.
As a follow-up to this topic so that other users may benefit from the answer. When you use the new import process and use AI mapping but do not save mappings, it will assign new AI mappings when you reupload your file. This could result in constantly newly assigned mappings.
As we are further developing the new import process and AI mapping alike, we are considering the option to save a set of AI mapping to give our users an option to move forward with the same AI mapping set.
