After importing the data, I would like to see what was the ifc element that got imported as a certain element. This would definitely better help the Quality assurance and also helps verifying with the 3d model when certain datapoints looks off.

Hi Prethvi,
During the import process, you can map source parameters like IfcElement to the Comment field to help identify components later.
Additionally, you can view all data from the import by clicking the green ‘paper’ icon, which can also help you trace an item back to the original element.
Perfect, it works. Is there any plans in the near future to have the ifc 3dviewer in the same calculation screen?
Yes, this is in the works but not quite ready just yet.
I support Prethvi’s request. An IFC/3D viewer under the Building Materials tab would be very helpful in order to be able to easily track the materials even after import.
