We are modelling a product that goes onto a substrate and then gets landfilled (with the product) eventually. I am having trouble deciding which EcoInvent datapoint to use because there is not one that relates to my chemical composition of the product. The best I have found is " Market for process-specific burdens, inert material landfill" but reading the description I am not sure if this is a good choice. Is there a generic landfill datapoint for a fairly inert material?

Yes, Treatment of inert waste, sanitary landfill (Reference product: inert waste) is quite a generic dataset for any inert, inorganic materials going to landfill.
I recommend reviewing it for its suitability for your product.
