Create custom assemblies

Hello
I like to create my own assemlies, for example I like to create a wall type that includes studs an insulation. Import this assembly to revit and use it as a material. I think this i s possible?

Best regards
Rickard

Hi Rickard, welcome to the One Click LCA Community! Creating your assemblies and loading these into Revit is indeed a good option to get a good picture of the emissions in your Revit model.

For this, you will need to create said assemblies in One Click LCA and save these to your company account.

Do note that you should model the assembly with the same functional unit. E.g. if you want to load a facade assembly into your Revit model which is modeled in sqm (m2) as the unit, your assembly in One Click LCA should also be modeled in m2.

After its creation, you will need to log in to the One Click LCA plugin in Autodesk Revit, and refresh the database of materials after which you will be able to choose your created assembly from One Click LCA as a mapping, after which you will be able to generate results as well.

I hope this helps, if you have further questions do let us know!
