In the construction industry, collaboration is key to driving environmental sustainability. Let’s get to know each other and build a supportive learning environment.

Hi everyone, I’m Steven, your friendly community manager here at One Click LCA!
I’ve been immersed in the world of construction sustainability for over 6 years now, and I love it. There’s nothing quite like helping others discover the power of environmental assessments and seeing the positive impact it has on their projects.
Currently, I’m diving into the “Whole-life carbon assessment for RICS v2” course.
One key takeaway that’s really hit home is how much the requirements for RICS v2 have evolved. It’s clear that the scope of these assessments is becoming increasingly comprehensive, which is both exciting and challenging!
If I could share one piece of advice, it would be this:
Stay curious and informed! In our industry, things are constantly changing - regulations, technologies, best practices. Keeping up with these developments not only helps you make better decisions but also gives you a broader perspective on the big picture of sustainability.
Feel free to reach out if you ever have questions about LCA or our software. I’m always here to help!
Hi, I am a Master Student at the University of Cape Town, where I specialize in the low carbon emissions potential of alternative building technologies for informal housing in South Africa. My name is Darmarajan Chinasamy.
I am presently enrolled in the Life-Cycle Assessment for Green Star Building Australia in order to gain a better understanding of the role of LCA in the Green Star Rating.
The most significant lesson I have gleaned from the course thus far is that the Green Star Rating is a practical application of the fundamental LCA methodology.
One valuable sustainability insight I have acquired thus far from my previous LCA studies is that it is imperative to obtain the values from the LCA for a material before it is assumed to emit high or low CO2.
I aspire to finish this course in the near future in order to broaden my understanding of the practical applications of LCA.
I am grateful to the One Click LCA team for providing this complimentary course.
