# Building GWP benchmark in Europe?

Given that OneClick LCA’s CArbon Heroes is based on the database of LCA projects done over time, are there any European-wide benchmarks that can be taken as a reference?

Also, is there any data to benchmark the GWP of concrete buildings against wood and steel (having the GWP of the envelope and structure alone)?

Hey Jamie, great question about comparing against different country profiles using the Carbon Heroes benchmark set! You’re right, while we offer various country profiles for comparison, we don’t have a combined ‘European’ profile just yet. It’s definitely on our radar as we’re working on a significant update to our benchmarks. We’re also looking into benchmarks for specific building structures, as we already track this data at the project level.

Edit: Just to add that while we do not have a combined European profile, for specifically Europe there are profiles for:

- Nordics
- Eastern Europe
- Western Europe
